Luned Rhys Parri
Luned Rhys Parri is a Caernarfon-based artist working across collage, painting and three-dimensional forms. Her practice explores Welsh history and culture through layered compositions incorporating found Welsh-language magazines and newspapers. Recent collaborations with artists including Julia Griffiths Jones and Cefyn Burgess have prompted new directions in her work, alongside her ongoing involvement in community art workshops and cultural heritage projects.

Patterns in Nature and Legends
Highly Commended in the 2025 Eirian Llwyd Memorial Award, printmaker Jonah Evans presents his first solo exhibition at Plas Glyn-y-Weddw, featuring new and recent work. Working predominantly in lino, Evans explores the natural world, particularly birds, alongside Welsh legends, myths and fantastical creatures. Drawing on his upbringing between the sea and mountains, his distinctive, detailed prints reflect his deep connection to Wales.

reimagining Gwen John: soft tissue
‘reimagining Gwen John: soft tissue’ explores Anna Falcini’s research into Welsh artist Gwen John and her artistic life in Paris. Drawing on Gwen John’s letters, Falcini creates a dialogue with the archive about the female artistic experience, examining John’s intimate, spiritual and animal relationships. Through sculpture, performance, installation and watercolour, alongside original works by John, the exhibition challenges historical interpretations of her ‘problematic’ emotions.
