The Friends’ Association was formed by Gwyneth and Dafydd ap Tomos in the 1980s to support the gallery. The Friends have provided a valued contribution to the running of the gallery ever since.
Funds generated by membership fees is an important source of income for Plas Glyn-y-Weddw, which is run by an independent charitable trust. The money generated contributes towards costs that include the upkeep and maintenance of the building and publishing promotional materials for exhibitions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1.Membership is valid for 365 days after membership is paid.
2.Membership is £30 annually, payment can be made online by following the link on our website, alternatively it is possible to make payment at the gallery’s reception.
3.Members are eligible for a 5% discount on original artwork and goods sold in the gallery shop. The membership card must be displayed to staff at the reception desk in order to receive the discount.
4.Only the person who is registered as a member of Plas Glyn-y-Weddw is eligible for the members’ discount at the gallery (i.e the person whose name is displayed on the membership card).
5.A fee of £5 is payable for a replacement membership card.
6. If you change your vehicle please notify staff at Plas Glyn-y-Weddw before your visit, or upon arrival at the centre and provide the new registration number.
7. The car park is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Cwmni Plas Glyn-y-Weddw Cyf does not undertake to supervise the car park, and will not accept any liability for loss or damage to motor vehicles or their contents howsoever caused, or injury to any person howsoever such injury is caused, unless or to the extent caused by proven negligence.
8. Please note that this does not give members priority over any other vehicles that are parked in the car park. On some, rare occasions the car park may be full and as a result you may have to wait until a parking space becomes available.
