14:00-15:00
Since words were first set to music, songs have been written and sung about the beauty of the world around us and our place in it. This programme will explore the many features of the planet Earth which have inspired composers and poets, from the rising and setting of the sun to the view of a distant forest from a mountain top, via clouds, wind and even the world-view of a cricket. Featuring works by Schubert, Ravel, Debussy, Dilys Elwyn Edwards, Gareth Glyn and others.
