Plas Glyn-y-Weddw is excited to share news of a growing collaboration with Keith Brymer Jones and Marj Hogarth, who are transforming Capel Salem in Pwllheli into a vibrant community hub and centre of excellence for the arts. Their new venture, Celf Capel Salem Arts, will run ceramics courses, apprenticeships and exhibitions from the beautifully restored chapel space—where the pottery studio is already nearing completion.
The team is also developing funding bids to continue the wider renovation, and Channel 4 has commissioned Series 5 and 6 to follow their remarkable journey. Thousands are already watching the story unfold.
Plas Director Gwyn Jones recently met with Keith and Marj at Capel Salem, and we look forward to working together on future joint projects - reciprocal exhibitions, talks and creative programmes that will benefit our communities and the arts in our region.
