Teresa was born in Waunfawr near Caernarfon and has always been interested in art. She studied as a mature student in Coleg Menai and gained a degree with distinction in art and design.
Artist Statement
"Welsh is amongst the oldest language spoken today, it is in a position of vulnerability and has been put on the list of endangered languages. My work relates to Wales, her language, culture, literature, and people and more often than not, inspiration comes from poetry. I do not constrict myself to the use of any particular medium, but this work has been made on recycled tissue paper from shoe boxes and clothes wrapping, my little bit towards recycling due to my concern about climate change."
