"My paintings are inspired by light, colour, dramatic landscapes and the beauty of nature.
Encouraged by my mother and an inspirational art teacher at secondary school, I’ve enjoyed drawing and painting for most of my life. After many years in graphic design and primary teaching, I switched to full-time painting in 2014.
I bring Mediterranean light and colour to the British landscape… Recently my work has evolved to reflect studies of post-impressionist colourist painters including Cezanne, Kandinsky and Peploe.
