Bob Armstrong works from his studio in Fotherby near Louth. He paints mainly landscapes of the wilder parts of Britain. He loves to walk the moors, mountains and coast with his sketchbook and pencils.
Over the years these sketches have built into a visual diary into which he can dip for ideas and inspirations.
“I am particularly interested in the way man has tried to influence the landscape and very often failed, as nature reclaims mines, quarries and old stone cottages”
