Artist’s Statement

Born in 1984 on a family farm in Gwynedd:

“I have always been close to nature, the environment and my roots. I have recently graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University having specialized in woven textiles where my passion for colour was pushed to its limits.

My inspiration for my recent pieces of textiles work has come from the beautiful and bustling harbours around my home. Through my paintings I am able to express my passion for colour, bold shapes in order to re create the vibrancy and excitement of the boat towns. I recently exhibited at the Mall Galleries in London where I received an award for young marine artist."
