OPGYW MEETINGS, CONFERENCES AND FUNCTION ROOMS

Plas Glyn-y-Weddw has full conferencing facilities and can offer a variety of packages to suit your needs, including catering.

The venue is also used for lectures and musical concerts due to its excellent acoustic qualities.

We can supply digital projectors, white screens and flip charts for your use.

Our Gallery rooms vary in size, seating from 30 people up to 100.

Special Occasions

Oriel Plas Glyn-y-Weddw is also a lovely location to celebrate a family special occasion such as a christening or silver wedding anniversary. One of our galleries can be laid out to suit your requirements (see picture opposite for example).

We also often hire out rooms for fundraising and charitable events (20% discount) at a special rate.

Accommodation and Meals

We have Wales tourist Board 3 Star graded accommodation for up to 12 people. Most rooms are en-suite or with private bathroom, others have a washbasin and / or shower.

One ground floor en-suite room is fully equipped for the disabled, there is also a chair lift to the first floor and a lift in the main gallery building.

Meals are prepared by Caffi'r Oriel , who also manage the Gallery's Tea Room. They source local produce as much as possible and prepare tasty meals with a Welsh flavour.

All catering arrangements are dealt with separately by the cafe.

Restrictions

Due to licensing laws and insurance limitations, there are some restrictions to the use of the Gallery. These MUST be noted at all times.

• The WHOLE building is a NON-SMOKING area. Our sensitive fire alarms will activate and call the Fire Brigade should smoke be detected in the building.
• All evening functions must end by 11.30pm.
• No drinks are permitted upstairs.
• Any breakages must be paid for.
