 Oriel Plas Glyn y Weddw's opening exhibition for 2012 will consist of two popular gallery artists along with a group exhibition of art graduates from Wales.

Exhibiting in the Kyffin Gallery will be Manchester born artist Anne Aspinall who has a firm following at the Plas. Her new mixed media work of local scenes are stunning and well worth a look!

Caernarfon based artist Stephen J. Owen returns to Plas Glyn y Weddw – his popular scenes of Gwynedd and Anglesey will be exhibited in the Great Hall.

A special pan Wales exhibition of Welsh Art Graduates (funded by the Arts Council for Wales and Gwynedd Council) will hang on the first floor of the Gallery. This exhibition will include work by five individual students from all of the major arts colleges in Wales along with a collection of group animation work.

The students are Rhian Haf (Swansea), Laura Hunt (Aberystwyth University), David Byrne (Bangor University), Lara Usherwood (Art Foundation, Coleg Menai), Ffion Evans (Cardiff), Samantha Ellis (Glyn Dwr University) along with the collective animation work entitled 'Animation Newport'.
