Read more...The influences on my work come from a myriad of sources, from overheard conversations on the train, to news paper headlines or inspiring ancient art, I also love to read, often making notes, taking inspiration from favourite authors, I'll often jot these on bits of paper or make little doodles, which I will work on later. These starting points often causing much confusion and consternation at a later date when I can't remember what exactly I meant when I wrote it down!

William Selwyn

William Selwyn was born in Caernarfon in 1933. In 1954, after two years completing National Service in the Royal Artillery, he studied at Bangor Normal College until 1956. He subsequently taught at Maesincla Junior School and at Syr Hugh Owen School until his retirement in 1990.
