"My playful yet reserved style feeds off the everyday people & places I see, as my illustrations aim not just to document, but also to understand why the subjects I've chosen have drawn me to them. The transition from London back to Wales has initiated a great change in the subjects I draw and how I draw them This is exciting for me, as it's allowing me to explore my heritage through illustration. Idioms are an imperative part of the Welsh language, and are in danger of disappearing. This series of illustrations aims to bring these idioms alive once more, at least for a little while."

The contrast between these traditional Welsh phrases & idioms and the more contemporary illustrations is intentional. Take these illustrations as a step towards remembering the Wales of bygone days.
