Born in 1936, in Colwyn Bay where he still resides today, Tom Jones has extensive experience in the Art world, having his first exhibition at the RCA at the young age of 22. After attending Liverpool University he started his career as an Architect until his retirement in 1992.

Born in 1959, Steven Jones spent most of his early childhood in Llysfaen, a small, idyllic village in the hills of North Wales. By the age of 10, he had won his first national painting competition. Following many years working as an illustrator, mainly in London, Steven has now returned to Ynys Môn and enjoys life as a full time artist.

Mike Jones paints from his studio in Pontardawe, Swansea, exhibiting regularly all over South Weles. Born in 1941, Mike is a prolific artist who takes inspiration from the Welsh culture and the lives of the people and places of the Valley. Brought up in the mining community of Godre'r Graig his images reflect the hard living conditions of his family and neighbours. Paintings and drawings of women scrubbing steps, cleaning and baking, granite figures of men working in the steel and coal industries. Also found in his work are remnants of old mine workings, isolated farmhouses and old chapels.

Mihangel was born of Welsh parents in 1940 and spent his early years on a mountain farm on the Cardiganshire / Montgomeryshire border. His family later moved to England where he studied for six years at Twickenham College of Art, obtaining a classical education in the Arts.

Meirion Jones is from Dyfed, and the vast majority of his work is inspired in that part of Wales. Latin Amerca accounts for the remainder. Although the themes are varied, the central one seems to be the female element associated with lakes and certain coastlines.

Aneurin M.Jones was born a farmer's son in the rural community of Cwm Wysg on the border of the old counties of Brecon and Carmarthen. He received his higher education at Swansea College of Art, where, from 1950 to 1955, he studied fine art; after graduation he spent two years with Celtic Studios, designing stained glass windows for churches in Britain, Canada and the United States. He was head of the Art Department at Ysgol Y Preseli, Crmych when it opened in September 1958 until July 1986.

Born in Newport, Gwent Elaine move to Edinburgh and then to Aberdeen where she had her early education. In Scotland she learned to love the rugged landscape. Still precious to her are the memories of picking bilberries on the mountains and collecting multicoloured limpet shells in the rock pools at Stonehaven. Moving to Folkestone where she continued her education, the mountains were replaced by the chalk and the gaultclay cliffs, both rich for fossil hunting, but once again the sea, boats and beaches were on the doorstep.

A native of Llangennech, near Llanelli, he graduated from the University of Wales, Swansea. He lives in Caermarthen, which has been his home town for over thirty years and where he was Deputy Headmaster at Ysgol Gyfun Bro Myrddin.
