Environmentally friendly efforts to harness the wind power within her local rural landscape provided Samantha with the inspiration for her work.

 Samantha has created an interactive element in her rings by inviting the wearer to enjoy the incorporated moving propellers and turbines. The concept behind each unique ring is that of natural beauty and industrial mechanisms working together in a harmonious but contrasting unity.

Samantha continues this theme, combining industry with the environment, in her designs to be developed into the Bard's chair at The National Eisteddfod in Wrexham from 30th July to the 6th August 2011.
